200mm Coater

Archipelago Technology has developed a 200mm (8 inch) coater designed to meet precision coating needs with a range of exceptional features.

This complete coater is suitable for a wide variety of production applications. One example is coating fibre-based packaging to replace plastic. Paper trays, plates, bottles and sacks can all be coated.

The Powerdrop coater is capable of coating flat and 3D objects with food-safe barrier coatings for water, oil, water vapour and other gases. Coating speeds of up to 120m/min are possible with high transfer efficiency, and with a very wide range of material viscosities.

It can also be used to validate processes ahead of specifying a larger system.
